Registration is only possible online and must be completed before the registration deadline. On-site registration will not be available.

• BSMO effective members, junior members-in-training (membership 2026 must have been renewed before 30/09/2026) and invited speakers are entitled to free participation in the scientific meeting + social programme and complimentary hotel room incl. breakfast and city tax on Friday night. Subject to availability. First-come, first-served.
  
  
• Special members 2026 (= undergraduate students, emeritus, associate members) are entitled to free participation in the scientific meeting + social programme .  No complimentary hotel accommodation is provided for Special Members (excluding Junior Members in Training). Special Members who require accommodation should make their own hotel arrangements and are free to book a hotel of their choice in Antwerp.
  
  
• NON-members are entitled to free participation in the scientific meeting. The Friday evening Social Programme is reserved for members only. Non-members may request to be placed on the waiting list and will be notified if space becomes available. In such cases, a fee of EUR 90.00 per person will apply. No complimentary hotel accommodation is provided. Non-members who require accommodation should make their own hotel arrangements and are free to book a hotel of their choice in Antwerp.
  
  
• Company representatives of companies NOT supporting BSMO 2027 can sign up and attend the general scientific sessions that are open to all. However a fee of EUR 250,00 per day will be charged.  Participation in the social programme on Friday evening is not allowed.  Maximum 2 persons per company. No complimentary hotel accommodation is provided. Company representatives who require accommodation should make their own hotel arrangements and are free to book a hotel of their choice in Antwerp.
  
  

Cancellation policy

• Cancellations of confirmed hotel room reservations for BSMO effective and Junior MiT members are free of charge provided the cancellation is received before 2 January 2027.  After this date a cancellation fee of 100 EUR will be charged to the guest/member that cancels
• Cancellations of confirmed registrations must be confirmed by e-mail to meeting@bsmo.be before 8 January 2027
• After this date BSMO regrets that they are unable to refund any fees
• Replacements of confirmed registrations are permitted – please send a written request to meeting@bsmo.be
