Dr Elizabeth SMYTH will be visiting us in person at Institut Jules Bordet on Friday March 24, 2023.
The seminar will take place from 8.00AM to 9.00AM : Institut Jules Bordet (Rue Meylemeersch 90, 1070 Anderlecht). This will be the opportunity to hold our LIVE Meet the Oncology Expert Meeting in our auditorium (0H – Foyer route 2985). The event is hybrid and Teams link will be provided.

Elizabeth SMYTH, MD – Oxford Cancer
«Gastroesophageal cancer : where we are and where to next ?”

Dr Elisabeth Smyth is a medical oncologist based in Oxford, UK who specializes in gastroesophageal cancer. Dr Smyth originally trained in Dublin, Ireland before moving to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre for a 2 year fellowship in 2009. After returning to the UK in 2011, Dr Smyth has been active in clinical trials and translational research, both nationally and internationally. She is a member of the ESMO Upper GI faculty and the current co-chair of the EORTC Gastric Cancer Taskforce.
