If you have forgotten your password, it is possible to reset this on the website, please click on myBSMO on the top right corner from the home page and then click on Dashboard and click on  “Lost your password?” enter the email address your account is registered with and a link to reset your password will be sent to you. Please note as this is an automated email it may arrive in your junk box.

What membership plan am I eligible for?

BSMO has several membership categories. Please refer to the information on the membership page: https://bsmo.be/membership/

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

For instance if a junior member in-training successfully completed her/his degree, they should upgrade from Junior MIT to Effective member.

Or if an effective member retires, he/she can downgrade to emeritus membership.

How to renew my BSMO membership for 2026?

Starting 1 January 2026 you can renew your BSMO membership online via your myBSMO account. BSMO membership is annual and is valid from the 1st of January to the 31st of December regardless of the membership application date. Once you have logged into the website https://bsmo.be/mybsmo/ with your unique login creditials you will find the subscription area available from your account. Login.  Renewal by 1 October 2026 is required to continue accessing member benefits. After this date, benefits will no longer be available.

IMPORTANT: Before creating a new account, please make sure you don’t have one already.
