In analogy with a multidisciplinary oncology consultation, several cases will be proposed by assistants or staff members from the Breast Centres in Belgium.

All proposals are expected to reach the secretariat of our association no later than 18 August 2025: cindy. dekeyzer@uzleuven.be
A case presentation may last 9 minutes, including 3 minutes of discussion. A presentation of 7-10 slides is expected, including only 1 or 2 slides of theoretical explanation.
If there are many submissions, the board of the BVS will select these cases which allow a multidisciplinary discussion and cases may be chosen for poster presentation.
During the symposium, the discussion will be led by the BVS board, in analogy with day-to-day practice.

As in previous years, a prize will be awarded this year to the three cases which, through their content and presentation, add value to the multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer.
o 1st prize: free participation in the San Antonia Breast Cancer Symposium 2025 or 2026, Texas (reimbursement of registration, hotel and economy class flight)
o 2nd prize: free participation in the ESMO Breast Symposium 2026,Berlin. (reimbursement of registration, hotel and economy class flight)
o 3rd prize: 500 euros
o 1 best poster prize winner

This event is offered free of charge to BVS members, assistants, nurses and speakers.
All others pay 40 EURO.
