2025 membership categories & annual fees

 

EFFECTIVE MEMBERS > Voting right at the yearly General Assembly

 

Effective member BSMO ONLY > 125,00 EUR

  • medical, radiation or surgical oncologist or clinician with other background 

Effective member JOINT BSMO& ESMO* / BGDO** / BeSTRO*** /MASCC**** > 75,00 EUR

  • effective member (clinician) that is member of ESMO, BGDO, BeSTRO, MASCC

BSMO has reciprocal membership agreements with:
* ESMO – since 2015 – 75,00 EUR to be paid to BSMO and 130,00 EUR you must pay directly to ESMO 
** BGDO – new since 2024 – 75,00 EUR to be paid to BSMO and 65,00 EUR you must pay directly to BGDO
*** BeSTRO – new since 2024 – 75,00 EUR to be paid to BSMO and 65,00 EUR you must pay directly to BeSTRO
*** MASCC – NEW SINCE 2025 – 75,00 EUR to be paid to BSMO and BSMO members are entitled to a 50% discount on a 1-year online MASCC membership when registering at https://mascc.org/join-mascc/ – To request the discount code to activate this, please email administration@bsmo.be

SPECIAL MEMBERS > NO voting right at the yearly General Assembly

Junior member in-training for Medical Oncology (from 4th year internal medicine) > FREE

An application with CV must be sent to administration@bsmo.be. After approval of your application you may sign up as Junior member

Junior members must inform BSMO as soon as they start working as medical oncologist by sending their new RIZIV/INAMI number > from that moment the effective membership fee must be paid 

Undergraduate student member (or 1st to 3rd year internal medicine) > FREE

Undergraduate medical and science students doing their first degree and interested in medical oncology

A motivation letter must be sent to administration@bsmo.be. After approval you may sign up as Undergraduate student member

Emeritus member > FREE

Effective members discontinuing active practice

Associate member > 25,00 EUR

Scientist/researcher without INAMI/RIZIV and not from industry, (hospital) pharmacist, other oncology health care professional, patient advocate

Corporate member > 125,00 EUR

Professional active in pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry/press

    ! ATTENTION > Special members Corporate 2025 can only take part in the scientific programme of the 28th Annual BSMO Meeting 2026 (open sessions ONLY).  They cannot join the social programme on Friday evening. No complimentary hotel room.
